Dear fellow National Release Centers,
On behalf of the SNOMED CT Translation User Group (TUG), we would like to invite your*National Release Center to join our regular meetings on SNOMED CT translation.
The TUG is one of SNOMED’s official user groups and brings together translators, terminologists and other NRC representatives involved in the translation of SNOMED CT. The group meets approximately every two weeks to discuss topics related to SNOMED CT translation, including translation challenges, editorial guidance, best practices, and opportunities to improve SNOMED CT based on insights gained through translation work. The group also provides a forum for sharing experiences and learning from one another across languages and countries.
We warmly welcome participation from all NRCs, regardless of the size or maturity of their translation activities. Your experience and perspective would be a valuable contribution to the discussions.
If you are interested in joining, please let us know and we will be happy to add you to the distribution list.
We would also like to invite you to join us at our extended meeting during the upcoming SNOMED Business Meetings. The TUG Business Meeting will take place online on Tuesday, October 13, between 11:00 and 15:00 (UTC). More information on the Business Meetings and the updated schedule can be found here.
Information about past and future meetings and useful documents can be found on the group’s Confluence space. We also have a dedicated Translation User Group SNOMED forum. You can view current and past discussions and you can request to join the forum to post new messages.
