To my knowledge, a ‘ribosomal ribonucleoprotein antibody’ is not the same as a ‘connective tissue disease–related antibody’, but rather refers to one specific antibody — U1RNP — which is associated with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD)
The local definition for “Connective tissue disease related antibody” is:
- Antibody related to Connective Tissue Diseases (MSH D003240)
With the note: ![]()
In Denmark, ‘NPU28402 P—Connective tissue disease–related antibody; arb. subst. c. (proc.) = ? (p.d.u.)’ is used for screening. In the case of a positive ANA screening, the result may be specified into the individual components- like the one above.
Perhaps 45530001 |Antinuclear antibody|is the right term?
I’ve checked this with Marte in our team, we support Karinas comment. The code is still in use in Norway.
