Cancelled SNOMED on FHIR Meetings - Tuesday 9 & 23 December 2025
We will not hold a SNOMED on FHIR meeting today Tuesday 9 December due to staff absence, and - while I’m posting - I’ll mention that we’ll also skip Tuesday 23 December due to holidays.
So for the Tuesday 20:00 UTC call, we’ll regroup in the New Year, with our next meeting being on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
However we’ve still got a 10:00 UTC call scheduled for Wednesday 17 December, so that will be the last SNOMED on FHIR call of 2025.
In the New Year, we could perhaps discuss dropping the Tuesday call also down to once per month. It might prove simpler to switch to Nth Tuesday/Wednesday in the month to avoid random conflicts, rather than every 4 weeks, which can result in 2 calls within a month. Opinions welcome.

Switching Tuesday 20:00 UTC SNOMED on FHIR Meeting to once a month
We had a discussion at the end of last year that our agenda is light enough these days to justify moving to one Tuesday meeting per month. To avoid random clashes, I propose we choose a “Nth in the Month” day, rather that “Once every 4 weeks" which can result in two meetings in the same month. Once the Tuesday week is set, I’ll set the Wednesday 10:00 UTC meeting to complement it, two weeks apart. You can select as many options here as will work for you:

SNOMED on FHIR Meeting Schedule Adjusted
Following on from discussions and polling (thanks Alejandro) about changing our meeting schedule, I’ve now adjusted the calendar so that we’ll meet every 1st Tuesday of the month at 20:00UTC and every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:00UTC.
So I’ve removed our meeting set for later today, and our next call will remain as previously scheduled - Tuesday 3 February and then Wednesday 18 February.
