Work plan update from Mark Jurkovich:
We have had limited progress on our key issues since our April meetings. The primary new tasks for the Dentistry CRG include a review of the implementation guide being developed and a review of the odontogram presentation provided at our April meetings. The implementation guide will be posted for our evaluation and comments shortly. We may plan a session later in June to discuss the Implementation Guide and what edits/additions you might suggest.
The Radiology group has begun meeting. Hopefully, we will have some updates on the requested dental concepts before our next meeting.
We will continue to work towards improving the quality of the dental procedures concepts, exploring how to enhance implementation and improved interoperability.
More to follow as soon as we are ready to evaluate the implementation guide as well as how and where to use it. In addition, if you would begin to record organizations you are aware of that are using SNOMED dental concepts in their electronic records, we may start making that information available to others considering a SNOMED implementation.
