If you missed the SNOMED International April 2026 Business Meetings + SNOMED CT in Austria Day in Vienna, check out our recently published summary of the sessions and speakers who gathered to collaborate and share progress, updates and expertise over five days. The event, which featured 24 group sessions, drew 318 participants from 26 Member and 6 non-Member countries.
The Business Meetings opened with a keynote by HL7 International CEO Rachel Dunscombe; European Health Forum President Auer Clemens Martin gave the SNOMED CT in Austria keynote. In addition, various advisory and clinical groups focused on terminology development, translation, implementation, FHIR alignment, lab medicine, mental health and more, while the organization’s governance bodies focused on sustainability and governance in addition to other key strategic topics. The sessions throughout the week all reinforced the importance of international collaboration in advancing digital health.
