2026 SNOMED CT® Global Patient Set (GPS) Production release

Dear all,

The Production release of the 2026 SNOMED CT Global Patient Set (GPS) package is now available, from the online portal (please hit the “Download GPS” button).

The SNOMED CT Global Patient Set (GPS) package contains three files:

• The GPS freeset file, in tsv format:

  • SnomedINTL_GPSRelease_PRODUCTION_20260101T120000Z.txt

• The GPS Implementation Guide, in PDF format:

  • doc_SnomedINTL-GlobalPatientSet-ImplementationGuide_Current_en-US_INT_20260101.pdf
  • This documentation can also be accessed online:

• The Readme file, in txt format:

  • Readme.txt
