Please see the Nursing Findings briefing note (link below) relating to Finding concepts using the terms “disability,” “reduced,” “limited”/“limitation,” “impaired”/“impairment,” and “difficulty”. These concepts currently show inconsistent wording, inconsistent word order, and mixed modelling patterns. Some concepts also carry synonyms that diverge in meaning from their Fully Specified Name, which complicates translation and consistent implementation. This briefing note requests feedback on a proposed approach for resolving these issues.
Feedback should be provided on the briefing note site and is due by 30th September 2026.
