  1. Public NPU browser: https://connectathon.snomedtools.org/?perspective=full&conceptId1=363787002&edition=MAIN/SNOMEDCT-LOINCEXT/2026-03-21&release=&languages=en
  2. Report from @pwilliams
  3. Specific topics
    • catalytic activity vs. concentration NPU57165
    • reference material NPU-12 (NPU-21)
    • technique (ex. IFCC 2006, IFCC 2002) NPU-13
    • blood cells NPU-17
    • Syst, Syst(spec) wording NPU-21, annotations?
    • substance ratio: NPU10238
    • Mapping of NPU28874, 20151003000105 |Phosphatidylethanol (16:0/18:1) (substance)|
    • Add a language refset for NPU-specific preferred terms

Its OK to shorten the full term “catalytic activity concentration” to “catalytic concentration”

The references “IFCC2006” etc have been replaced in the database with unique references to the JCTLM database

Wording of "Syst(spec):
Below are some examples. The proposal “DNA from a specification”.
Or even better “DNA from a specified anatomical location”??
in case of double specification: “DNA from tumour at a specified anatomical location”??

•NPU10335 DNA(spec.)—FUT3 gene; taxon(proc.) = ?
•NPU58247 DNA(Tumor;spec.)—Microsatellite Instability; arb.act.(proc.) = ?
•NPU08590 Drain fluid(spec.)—Amylase, pancreatic type; cat.c.(37 °C;proc.) = ? µkat/l
•NPU57136 Duodf(spec.)—Duodenal fluid; k-o-p(list)

Minutes

  • arbitrary concentration - different concept for NPU?
  • write ticket for:
    • not having unit relationship when there is no NPU unit, e.g. arb.conc.
    • catalytic activity → catalytic (activity) concentration (e.g. NPU57165)
    • add a language refset for NPU-specific preferred terms
    • check terms for 30061003000105 (10^-3 IU/L)
    • change mapping for 20151003000105 |Phosphatidylethanol (16:0/18:1) (substance)| @pwilliams
  • reference procedure: see ticket NPU-13

@dkarlsson @Majken @klwallin @pwilliams @helenetstaves @Kfra and group – I have requested to convene a smaller group tomorrow, Wed May 20th, to review V2.0 of the report which I will have made some progress on by the meeting: V2 of the REPORT

Note that I have retained the original V1 document for traceability and easy access to comments contributed by the group.

Once we have this touchbase, I can reissue the meeting invitation to any and all participants that wish to be involved in the report component of the project.

Cheers

  • Kelly
